Our Motto
Working Together,
Learning Together

Our Mission

We believe that all children can learn and work together towards mastering basic skills, regardless of prior performances, background, economic status, race or gender. Our mission is to help the children and their families to learn enough from their experiences that when they leave, they have obtained a sense of love, understanding and knowledge to ensure a positive self-image and self-respect as to be prepared to challenge the world and all of its surroundings, and to grow socially and emotionally so that they will become productive citizens in life.

Program Information

Our program offers pre-school and daycare for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years. Program hours are 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. The school year is January through December.

Discipline:

A positive, safe environment in a group setting requires good behavior. The children are taught to respect others and learn self-control. They can only express their feelings in an acceptable way at the daycare.

Attendance:

It is important for your child to attend daycare every day to get the full potential of the learning we have to offer. If a child needs to be absent, the parent is to call the school and let the director or teacher know that the child will be out that day and why. If a child is out more than 3 days with an illness, the parent is to return with a doctor's notice that will allow the child to return to the school. Tuition is due all days the child is enrolled regardless of absences. There will be No Refunds.
Policies regarding Tardiness, Pick Up and Drop Off Procedures, Early Dismissal, School Closings and Checking On Your Child.

Meals and Snacks:

We serve breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. If your child can't eat certain foods, we need a doctor's statement to change the meals or snacks for your child. We serve meals for the infant/toddlers downstairs at 8:00 am, 11:00 am, and 2:00 pm. Upstairs meals are served at 8:00 am, 11:30 am, and 2:00 pm. In order for your child to receive these meals, your child must be at the daycare at the time of meals or within the 1/2 hour after meals have been served.

All parents of infants and toddlers must bring in bottles already made with your child's name on them. Infants that are not eating table food should have jars of baby food brought in by the parents with names on them as well.

When it is your child's birthday, you may bring in only store-bought packaged treats to celebrate.

Clothing, Diapers and Wipes, Potty Training:

Parents of infants and toddlers must bring in two (2) changes of clothing and at least six (6) diapers and wipes on a daily basis. Parents, it is your responsibility to check your child's cubby and to update it daily as well. If these needs are not met your child will not be allowed to stay until these items are brought into the school. You are more than welcome to leave with the child and return with the child and items the same day. Pacifiers are included with said items. If you have any questions, please see the director.

Parents of children under age 6 must bring in two (2) sets of clothing for accidents that may occur. Clothing items should be placed in the child's cubby with their names on them. Parents must also bring in a minimum of six (6) pull-ups and wipes on a daily basis. We encourage the children to go potty; however, we will not force to potty training (child must verbally ask to go to the bathroom).

Parents of children ages 6 through 12 years old only need to bring in one (1) set of extra clothes with their names on them.

Rest / Naptime:

All children are to lie down during our daycare naptime. This will allow your child to rest and relax to music playing during this time. Infant and toddler room nap times are from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm.

Field Trips:

We plan field trips three or four times per year. When field trips are scheduled, a notice will be sent home with the location and amount of applicable fee, if any, a week prior to the trip (usually the Friday before). Parents must sign and return the permission slip the following Monday in order for their child to attend. There will also be an attendance form in your child's class or with the director that you will need to sign.

Safety:

We make every effort to provide a safe, healthy environment for your child/ren. It is very important that you, the parent, submit and update current contact numbers (home, work, etc.) so that we can notify you in case of accident or emergency. Information and policy regarding accidents and emergencies.
